A series of no’s made out of white feathers suspended from cotton threads. I was interested in the rise of visible white supremacy and the power of a small no from certain racial groups to measures to create greater equality in the world. The small white no is a tiny sculpture out of down feather which is designed to insulate the sitting bird not to enable flight. These were collected from the ground on the South Downs, Hampshire and are a part of my continuing exploration of the English Countryside over the last two years.
