Woven by Ruth Dundas and Susan Maffei. Ruth was taking photographs around New York of reflections in windows. These images were projected onto vellum and lines were drawn around areas of light and dark in the composition. This vellum was then suspended on the warp yarns of a high warp loom, and these compositional lines inked onto the cotton warp. The weaver then was given artistic freedom to choose and blend wool yarns for the weft.
