Quilt 21 - Jurors' Choice Award

From the Artist: The images in the current work are based on, and abstracted from, details observed in forms and fragments from the landscape. I explore line and pattern found in driftwood, fossils, rock, shell, bits and pieces from the gardens. Marks left by time and natural forces fascinate me. Originally from Tidewater Country on the Eastern Seaboard, and for the last 25 years living in the Rocky Mountain West, I find the forces of landscape to be a powerful influence on my work.
