Impossibility of Repetition #1

This series involve two printmaking techniques: monoprinting on the first layer combined with screen printing with the marks made by toy robots and the second layer consisting of screen printing on glass and painting by hand. The reason why silk screening technique is used is not for ease of mass production, but conceptually, as another type of artist's brush. In addition, the shadows created by the marks on the glass forms the ‘grey’ in these works and are ever-changing depending on the direction and intensity of the light source. This set of works reflect not only with the radical conflict between the two “colorless” colors (black and white), but also their interaction and interdependence.
