I travelled to the Maritimes in August of 2022 and had the privilege of visiting picturesque Lunenburg, N.S. We spent some time walking along the waterfront taking in the enormous piers, open ocean, and the vast variety of boats. It was all new and interesting to this prairie girl. While admiring the Bluenose ll schooner I happened to turn around and saw this fellow rowing his dory in. The contrast in size of the schooner and that of the dory caught my attention and I watched as he was able to maneuver the boat to where he wanted it docked.
