Sharon (Wren) Rogers was born in Dallas, Texas. Currently she maintains a studio in the Washington, DC area. She received a BFA from the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas in 1990 and an MFA from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio in 2000. Her work was published in New American Paintings Vol. 70 and StudioVisit Vol. 15, 23, 37 and forthcoming Volumes 53/54. Through her interest in Deep Ecology, consciousness, emotion, and the interconnectedness of all sentient beings, she explores how we locate ourselves in time-space.
