Metropolis was inspired by the notion of how risen waters doomed a city of the future, possibly creating a (unwelcoming?) place for classic noir photography. — The artwork is a tribute for those who suffered, who are at jeopardy or will be victimized for inequalities in the way that dry land is unfairly distributed.
