I am a printmaker and illustrator living in Eaton, Colorado. My work deals with insects, science fiction and science fact from the combined perspectives of past, present and future. I primarily utilize block and screen printing as well as monotypes, cyanotypes and illustration. I’m fascinated by science fiction literature from past and present, physics, biology and insects which form the primary visual language of my compositions. I like to explore the scientific, satirical and absurd. My tactile philosophy centers around creating a vocabulary of images that can be repeated, layered and re-interpreted to find new purposes and meanings. I hold degrees in printmaking and art history from the University of Northern Colorado and I have been creating prints in Greeley, Colorado for over a decade. All work copyright of the artist.
