Rita Roberts began her art career creating stunning and realistic landscape paintings with her unique style of palate knife painting. She is a founding member of the Oil Painters Society of America, and her landscapes, figurative drawings, and illustrations have been displayed and shown in many galleries in the Southwest in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada. Aside from painting, she is an illustrator, author, screenwriter, and owns and operates a commercial and residential painting company in the San Luis Valley of Colorado.
In 2018 her artwork took a turn to the abstract where she began creating what she calls "Soul Circles" or Soul Portraits for clients, events, podcasts, and other publications.
The Quiet Path Farm Soul Circle was a commissioned piece by Scott Schumacher, and is an embodiment of the "Spirit of the Land" of the 30 acre parcel of land which he resides at the Missouri-Iowa border.
