University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Fine Arts-Painting and Drawing, Minor in Art History-German Expressionism, Modern Art, Contemporary Art, European Medieval Art.

Studied Painting with Herman Somberg, Drawing with Hank Rowan, Sculpture with Guy Baldwin. Important classes with Raymond Hendler and David Feinberg.

A gestural approach and directness of mark-making leads to the creation of new forms to be exploited and built upon. This idea forms the basis of my creative approach.

My work is inspired by the landscapes of the North.
