This encaustic etching collagraph showcases a captivating underwater world, brimming with life and wonder. Drawing inspiration from my extensive reading about fascinating sea creatures, particularly the fascinating "Krill," I like how the Krill come to life through a combination of etching on the plate and printed handmade paper.

The creative process began by creating a waxed plate, onto which I delicately etched intricate lines, capturing the essence of movement in the water and the enchanting marine species. The printing process was executed in two runs: the initial run with green hues, and the subsequent run with the addition of blue tones, resulting in a remarkable sense of depth.

This inspiring marine life reminds us of the beauty and fragility of the oceans that we must cherish and protect for generations to come.
