America represents a segmented period when I was trying to evolve spatial problems with material, (canvas strips) instead of paint. The necessity was to construct the surface with polymer and canvas with a minimum of paint and a maximum of positive and negative space.
Art is a way of life with me. I accept it as a total realm of my existence, like a belief in something that is beyond me. It is an ongoing process that is inseparable from life. For now, art exists as a necessity.
