These works are painted with a natural earth pigmented clay paint. They are an exploration of allowing the color of the earth pigments to inspire the painting to flow from a place of being connected to the earth(the earth pigmented clay paint), what we come from and what we will return to. The color quite literally moved me to paint these paintings.
