Companion to “Take Me High”, “Take Me Home” is a clear and neat expression of the color scheme. Both pieces share the base palette of bright blue, red, green, yellow acrylic ink over a background of Naples Yellow. The phrases are inspired by lyrics from Frank Ocean’s Pilot Jones. In “Take Me Home”, the paths of ink create a web of streets like a subway map; layered but clean; chaotic but able to follow. Over the layers of acrylic ink, “Take Me Home” features some 3-Dimensional lines which further add dimension to the piece.
