"DROP DEAD" takes no prisoners. A flat black base adorned with silver, red, and white acrylic ink; the paths left behind in those colors are nearly obscured by the swaths of white crackle paste which leave deep channels in the surface. Enter more red. Over top of the bloody scene, a spray of gold paint reveals the phrase, "'DROP DEAD'", referencing the infamous 1975 Daily News headline ('Ford to City: Drop Dead'). An image of a skull appears in the top right, somewhat obscured by smudges of black. A large red hook rests to the left of the text.
