Sarah Wold
Chaska, MN
I believe creative self expression brings joy and strength to our lives. Art heals.
MessageDrawing and painting have always brought Sarah Wold great joy. Encouraged by her creative family, she began taking art classes at the Minneapolis Institute of Art as a child. Art became a way to escape early life challenges, and by high school, Sarah was not only excelling in her classes but was also invited to teach drawing and painting to her peers. One of her proudest early moments was having her artwork purchased by a teacher and her school’s art department during a student exhibition.
Over the years, Sarah has continued to pursue art through small projects. In 2020, she began oil painting classes with jeffboutinart.com, which rekindled her passion. She made her vendor show debut in December 2024 at Badger Hill Brewing.
Sarah loves creating expressive, joyful artwork that fosters connection and resilience. She is especially inspired by feedback from artists, collectors, and collaborators who tell her how much joy her work brings them. Her long-time goal has been to paint joy, calm, and happiness, and she is proud to be achieving that in her current work.
This spring, Sarah returns to Badger Hill Brewing for the Spring Market Tent Sale on May 17, 2025, where she will offer original paintings, fine art prints, and art-themed merchandise. She is also excited to participate in the Art Wander this September.
Sarah is honored to be part of the Arts Consortium of Carver County. Her paintings have been featured in ACCC gallery exhibits and shows at Carver County libraries.
