Sarah went to college in 1990 to study costume design and a few  years later she had her first daughter and went back to college and then university to study sculpture and was awarded the Henry Moore, Tate and Royal College of Art Figuring Sculpture Award.

After a few years of working in Museums and as an exhibition Coordinator she moved to Wales with her family and had her second daughter and started to teach life drawing and painting with Aberystwyth University Lifelong Learning. In 2016 she studied for an MA in fine art painting. During this time she was selected to take part in two graduate shows and has had work that was highly commended at MoMA Wales and has shown at Mall Galleries and Saatchi Gallery, London. She has had work published in The State of Art: Representational and Abstract
