This image is part of the Microbiome series inspired by gardening during the pandemic and watching two microbiome documentaries called"Kiss the Ground" and "The Biggest Little Farm." The image started with my drawing of vegetable garden roots which I made into a solar plate. I printed the plate with painted stencils of microbe like organisms. The repetitive processes were soothing.
