Techniques: I created the fabrics using Itajime and Arashi Shibori techniques with Discharge, overdyed with Indigo, Machine pieced, machine quilted with variegated thread

Artist Statement: As the sands shift, I dream of civilizations past. I search for Sapphire skies, illuminated by the midnight moon…..a celestial message of hope in these ever-changing, unpredictable times. Bold and daring. Fearless, yet harmonious. This is my interpretation of the cultural traditions and patterns made on cloth and handed down through the generations.
