The title of this painting is "A little bird told me" . I heard a story about two birds that influenced my thinking when I was younger. I was always trying to figure out how the world works. The story starts with two birds. One bird stayed low on the branches on the tree where all the berries grew. That bird never saw anything more of his bird surroundings than what was in front of the birds eyes. That bird's name is the lower bird. The other bird stayed high on the tree and observed all that his eyes could see. From what he observed, he formed much wisdom. That bird's name is the higher bird.
I always remember that story when it comes to deciding on which path I should take.
Path one, the easy way is full of lots of food, TV, and other pleasures.
Path two is challenging, learning, college, reading books on self-discovery, and spiritual truths.
Of course, you guessed which path I choose. And I have never regretted taking the higher bird's advice.
