BACKGROUND
Sandra works in a secluded mountain-top studio in the Northwest. From her doorway she can walk into the miracles of nature – indigo-topped mountains, the musical sounds of wildlife, resonating colors and filtered sunlight. She translates the magic of nature to her artwork, incorporating the colors, symbols, and feelings in her designs.
A multi-media artist and Sandra chooses to paint in the style of creative masters using her strong traditional background of drawing and oil painting. It is easy to tell that Sandra’s life takes on a new and exciting dimension when creating. Her fine-art paintings make the viewer feel more alive, more contemplative, more excited, and enthused with the adventure of meaning and truth.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
“When creating, I feel I am at one with the creative process. All other thoughts disappear, and I find a wonderful, fulfilling contentment. My art represents my own highest truth and discovery of the Creator. I like subjects, lines, forms, and colors packed with meaning and symbolism, and I respond to the constant call of the beauty of the world around me. I strive for the special essence of that beauty to be recognized in my art.”

My collection of artworks varies from realistic portraits, landscapes, abstract, fantasy, and magical realism. I have been creating art since I was five years old. I believe that we are only limited by imagination and can defy the common belief of the laws of reality to lead to a better future of fun and enlightment.
