Artist Statement: This mural is one panel from an autobiographical comic story. I am an old barn owl walking through the streets of Salem at night, taking ghosts and bad memories with me through town until I get to the derby wharf lighthouse, throw those ghosts into a trap door and light the way for others to follow. this piece really means a lot to me. I've been an artist in Salem for a number of years and I feel like I've finally found my artistic voice. This would mean the world to me to showcase my work in my own hometown.
