Artist Statement: Saturation is sunshine. Our jellyfish mural is painted as bright as we could make it, in an effort to light up the street corner. We leaned into a cartoon-ish style, with hard shadows that make the creatures POP! We wanted this project to have a fun process and a fun result- especially being near 3 Salem schools, and such a highly-trafficked intersection, we hope that as people walk, bike, or drive by, their commute will be lit up with our eye catching design, and bring some good vibes to their day.
