Screen Time

While early Pop artists drew inspiration from newspapers, advertising, and consumer products, the Screen Time series focuses on today’s equivalents: notifications, messages, metrics, and the devices through which we experience them - reimagining Pop Art through a lens of contemporary digital culture.
Fragments of newspaper headlines are visible in the background, creating a dialogue between traditional and contemporary media. Bold device silhouettes, collage, and hand-stitching transform familiar digital interfaces into vibrant, layered compositions.

Analog materials and techniques capture how these devices shape the way we communicate, consume information, and measure ourselves. Distressed surfaces on the screens reference obsolescence, highlighting the tension between our reliance on technology and the temporary nature of the devices themselves.
