This sculpture is made entirely out of wood, including the functional hinge. Hand-painted with chrome lacquer and black acrylic. Included with the piece is a wire for hanging from above. This work is an homage to the iconic Shure 55A "Fathead" microphone, famously lowered from the ceiling prior to pro wrestling and boxing matches.
