After working for eighteen years with an art publisher/licensing agency, Rose Kennedy now enjoys the expressiveness and freedom of creating original paintings inspired solely by observing life and nature.  Rose has attended numerous plein air workshops with nationally renowned artists and has taken the skills learned from these experiences and developed her own personal and recognizable style. Her paintings are vibrant and exciting, reflecting nature as she sees it. Rose resides in the sandhills region of North Carolina and enjoys painting scenes both on location and those inspired by her travels. She is a member of the Southeastern Pastel Society, Women Painters of the Southeast, Oil Painters of America and Cape Fear Studios in Fayetteville North Carolina, where she maintains a working studio. Her work is also available at Olde Town Gallery and Cape Fear Botanical Gardens in Fayetteville.
