Large carved marble sculpture of a naked woman in the foam of the waves. Supposedly inspired by the famous painting 'Birth of Venus' by Alexandre Cabanel (Museum D'Orsay).

This impressive carved culpture is signed on the back. The waves are beautifully sculpted and flow over the woman's body.

The work probably originated from Italy or France, created in the middle of the 20th century.
