Roger Ewers was born in Seattle, raised in Oakland, and resides in Davis, California. He has a degree in geography from UC Davis and has worked as a land surveyor, sign painter and cartographer. He studied art at UC Davis, Sacramento State University and Sacramento City College where he earned an AA in Art. He has taught oil painting at the Davis Art Center and has exhibited at galleries in the Sacramento region, Bay Area and Southern California.
