Didn't think I had much of a chance, competing against thousands of well established artists from all parts of the world, but ... you never know, so I entered Urban Prairie in the prestigious Annual 'Artist Magazine's' Art Competition. This is a big deal! Like I said, I entered, mid summer and just let it go, not thinking I had much of a chance.
WHAT A SURPRISE, when I received an email, congratulating me as a finalist in the abstract division. They were going to devote a half page feature plus a half page ad in their equally prestigious magazine, 'Southwest Art.'
This was an outstanding opportunity for me. The magazine came out in January of 2017 and has resulted in critical acclaim and helped boost my career.
