I love to collect interesting pots jars and vases. This bouquet came in a ceramic jar that had an appearance of a beat up tin bucket, with interesting lines and texture. I love the flowers because they are varied and outside of what is traditionally given in a bouquet. Fortunately, the first flower I focused on painting was the hydrangea, because the second day it was deflated like a balloon! My friend said she liked the flowers but she didn't like the pot, it looked too plain. I absolutely love the contrast between what is lovely and what is humble. I think that together they create a really beautiful harmony. I think it is charming!
