There is something deeply satisfying about the ordinary. This piece reimagines one of America's most beloved snacks in stone and mixed media, capturing the simple comfort of an Oreo and a glass of milk with the permanence and craft of fine sculpture.
The plate is carved from limestone and tinted with oils. The cookies are rendered in resin and acrylic paint. The glass of milk is carved from alabaster with mixed media accents.
The piece measures 6.5"h x 12"w x 12"d and includes a custom pedestal with a rotating base and a Lucite cover case.
