'The Reading Garden' is a multifunctional public sculpture by artist Madeline Wiener. This sculpture grouping was created to honor the head librarian and to invite people to come out to read in the garden. The reading garden includes collaborative work from the community as they named the book's, wrote poetry, and drew images that are shown on the books surfaces. 'The Reading Garden' can be found outside of the Gainboro Branch of the Roanoke Public Libraries.
