- Michele Neto Peppers
Attending live performances has been one of Michele Neto Peppers’ great loves, and she has been sharing them with her family as a patron since moving to Roanoke twenty years ago.
“Sadly,” says Peppers, “our local arts organizations have been greatly affected by the pandemic, as have those who derive such joy by attending their productions. I want this piece to reflect how I, as an artist--and the Roanoke community at large—benefit from these local arts organizations in very dramatic and healing ways.”
Peppers has taken classes in graphic design, drawing, and painting, and photography at Virginia Western Community College and Roanoke College. Much of her art has been in support of the many non-profit organizations and schools that she and her children have been associated with.
