I was born in New Ulm, Minnesota and moved to Prairie du Sac in 1966 because my husband took a job at Sauk Prairie hospital, and I worked as a Registered Nurse.
A friend encouraged me to take a basket weaving class 28 years ago in Prairie du Sac and I fell in love. Most of the basket weaving I do are made with reed. I do a variation of many types of baskets and basket designs.
