Low Visibility

Through my paintings I explore my diverse interests and experiences.
My paintings reflect the places I’ve lived, my personality, and interests. My subject matter is chosen because it moves me. This means that I choose the subject, composition, colors, and medium. My work can be realistic, abstract, whimsical, or mystical - I am in charge. I am inspired by garden catalogs, travel, art books and even my own backyard. I have studied with many artists that I admire. My style has been shaped by their ideas and techniques I believe learning is never ending.

I am a native Hoosier and have an M.S. in elementary education. I have lived in many places but Waunakee has been home for a long time.

My paintings have found homes in the U.S. and Canada. Locally, my art work is displayed at the Waunakee SSM clinic and at the Waunakee public library.
