Little Missouri

I grew up in northern Wisconsin and eventually earned a BA in Art from UW Green Bay. I returned to creating art in 2023 after several decades off.

I do not consider myself strictly a watercolor or landscape painter. However, I have always enjoyed the immediacy and effects of watercolors and have been fortunate enough to receive quality training at three different periods in my life.

Returning to painting after so many years, I chose the media I was most comfortable with, one with a rapid return on investment. I am certain I will always paint landscapes as a great application of the craft.

I have been heavily influenced by Andrew Wyeth and John Singer Sargent and hope to start with more portraits, figures, and architectural scenes. I am not yet satisfied (and likely never will be) but happy to be on the journey again.
