I Reject by Jennifer Bastian Image: This piece is a patchworked banner that hung on a house across the street from an elementary school in the Northeast neighborhood of Minneapolis from October, 2024 to April, 2025. It is a response to the various genocides occuring around the globe funded by and/or supported by the United States. My hope with public banner works is always to invite curiosity and conversation, as well as to inspire viewers to feel solidarity in the knowledge that if the message resonates with them, they are not alone.
