I'm interested in expanding both information and imagination through my art. "Great Norther Diver" imagines a view from underwater as a loon penetrates the surface as it dives in search of food. This is a less conventional view of this bird that captures much of the bird's reality despite my use of imagination in creating image.

I create in part because I love to make but also because it helps me understand.
