“Uyum” (meaning Harmony) is an expression of the search for balance in emotional turbulence. It emerged from a time when I felt disconnected from my emotions, as if my inner world had fallen silent and become unreachable.

The painting reflects that uncomfortable feeling that can settle in the chest or throat, a feeling of stuck emotions.
As I painted, I could feel these emotions take shape through color and movement. A dialogue began between the softer and harder parts of myself.

Perhaps you recognize that feeling — the moment when inner restlessness meets the longing for gentleness, and something new begins to open within you.
