Choices.
As I was creating the Lobstress, I began with a pose similar to the Louvre Museum marble "Young Neapolitan Fisherboy Playing with a Tortoise." As she progressed, she evolved into a "Queen of the Sea" Tot figure. Feeling more and more that this piece was about choices, I flanked her with a red pill and blue pill: a classical sculpture in the center with Koons on her left and Ryden on her right.
