By the time you reach the end of July, the waters of the Atlantic Ocean on the South Jersey shore start to warm up nicely. As they warm up, the colors change into brilliant blues but what changes the most, are the greens.
When the water warms up, the greens in the body of the waves turn a beautiful deep evergreen while the water that is backlit by the sun can turn this magnificent cool green.
I grew up in the mid-west and have lived at the Jersey Shore for 20 years now and am still fascinated by the continuous changes I have the pleasure of observing each year.
