I love working on large scale designs, and my conceptual piece for this exhibit called for a height that would fill the floor-to-ceiling space at the gallery. The Creuse river is why the town of Aubusson was located here, and why the tapestry industry flourished. Exhibiting at the AM’Carta Gallery is an important step in my art career, and I wanted to pull these two influences together in one colorful large silk painting. Voilà!
