On S. Lumpkin Street, in the heart of Athens' historic Five Points neighborhood, we were incredibly lucky to have a real bakery open. In the early morning mist, as you approach Independent Bakery to buy your bread for the day, the view from across the street is soft, but the aroma we catch in the air is absolutely delightful.
