4145 26th Street, San Francisco
Walking from my apartment in Noe Valley to pick up the bus going downtown on 26th Street between Noe and Castro Streets, I happened upon this charming house right across the street from the bus stop. The architecture at 4145 26th Street attracted my attention with the angle of the steep steps, the midnight blue clapboard, and the font used for the address on the triangle-shaped front panel. There was something magical about the number “4145”-- it seems like a lucky number to me.
When I looked up the address on Google maps to verify the location, I noticed that the color of the house had changed! In March of 2022 the house had been a deep cranberry color. I believe the deep blue is much more appealing.
I loved exploring San Francisco and I love sharing it with you. The city is calling me back: When can we return?
