Lazy Days of Summer II captures the easygoing spirit of my childhood summers on the Florida coast. The lifeguard tower and palm trees set the scene, while the pink flamingo floatie brings a playful touch that recalls the joy of beach days spent with family. Combining collage and mixed media allowed me to layer textures and colors, blending realism with a stylized feel to evoke that warm, inviting atmosphere. This piece is a tribute to those carefree moments by the ocean that continue to inspire my work.
