This is a stylized version of one of the columns on The Albert Street Bridge in Regina. Designed in the Egyptian style made popular due to the discovery of King Tutankhamun's Tomb in the 1920's this bridge was part of a make work project of the 1930's. It held the distinction of being the longest bridge over the shortest span of water for many years. This work is painted on a gallery-wrapped canvas and is unframed.
