Contemporary abstract landscape/seascape. Painted with palette knife.
The local sandstone cliffs of south eastern Prince Edward Island (Epekwitk) often have gaps eroded by spring runoff streams, where snow and ice collect throughout the winter. These areas stay shaded between the cliff walls on each side, creating their own cold microclimate where the snow takes longer to melt but eventually becomes a temporary tiny flood running down to the ocean at last.
