This piece was an experiment with using iridescence instead of black for the background. The rose came out looking a little sharp edged and forceful due to the lines. The colors are not timid either. As a result, I went with Strength as the meaning for this rose. I was surprised at how many meanings flowers seem to have in general and suspect there is a whole range of possibilities for paintings while exploring them.

Framed in a modern, black floater frame and is ready to hang.
