My great-grandmother gave me a small black & white photograph that she took of the pyramids at Giza in the 1950’s. I find myself living on the opposite side of the world where waves, crashing upon the shoreline, are flipped upside down in the dream space of an ungrounded monolith. Sea foam fills the sky, buoying a window to a past life.
