Rosemary studied art history and studio art at the University of Maryland and subsequently received a master’s degree from Columbia University specializing in paper and rare books conservation. She spent nearly thirty years at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery as a paper conservator.
Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions in the Washington DC metro area.

Often her work depicts the interconnectedness among the natural world, culture and society. She is intrigued by the complexity of color, patterns, and structural elements in our environment and how they are expressed through materials and process. Over the years she has taken several monotype printing workshops at Pyramid Atlantic using various types of plates.
